It was the first meet of the year for most of the 10 Central Lakes Conference High School Track teams attending this year's Husky Classic at St. Cloud State University.  Runners and coaches get to see their potential for the first time.  With the early spring this year, coaches were elated to have been outside already compared to the average year when there's still snow on the ground.  In this story you'll hear from coaches representing St. Cloud Tech and St. Cloud Apollo.

Varsity Track Program Hosts MEGA MEET

May 3rd, 2008 - Sauk Rapids/Rice High School

When it comes to High School Track meets, they don't get any bigger than this one.  In this story, the Sauk Rapids/Rice Track Program hosts their annual Mega Track Meet.  18 schools participated in the day-long Saturday event.  This year not only did the athletes have to compete against each other, but they also had to battle freezing temperatures and gusty winds.  This MEGA MEET is one of the largest held in Central Minnesota.
