On Tuesday January 15th, the Sauk Rapids Storm boy’s hockey team took on the always-difficult Cardinals from Alexandria. The Storm got off to a sluggish start, but strong goal-tending from Beau Jacobson would allow them the chance to get back into the game as both Matt Szymanski and Travis Cariveau scored for the Storm. As hard as the Storm battled back it would not be enough as they fell to the Cardinals 4-2. Stay tuned to DigElog Sauk Rapids for highlights of the Storm hockey team vs. the River Lakes Stars and Apollo Eagles.
