April 06, 2009
In our first full week of 2010, DigElog ROCORI would like to take a look back at some of our favorite stories of 2009. Today we would like to feature a wonderful story about the students of Cold Spring Elementary raising over $10,000 for the Pennies for Patients Program. As part of the students reward for their fundraising efforts, their principal agreed to shave his head and eat earthworms. Click the video below to see for yourself! Stay tuned to DigElog ROCORI all week as we continue to bring you our favorite stories from 2009.
Cold Spring Elementary Places 4th In State Of Minnesota
I just wanted to let you know that I received a couple messages about your You Tube video.
I watched it, and it was so fun to see the worm eating and head shaving! I visited Cold Spring Elementary a couple weeks ago to deliver a banner (they placed #4 in the whole state!) and express the thanks from patients and staff at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for the school community's support. Results and the photo are at our site (www.schoolandyouth.org/mn/results). Thank you for your involvement!
