As the Spartans came into their final game of the regular season, not only was their section seed on the line, but they also had conference bragging rights to play for as they matched up against the Sauk Rapids/Rice Storm. Early on, the Spartans came out with a balanced scoring attack led by the hot shooting of Brett Eisenschenk. However, the Storm crept back into the game and trailed by only three at the half.
SECOND HALF
Once again the Spartans offense got on a roll out of the gate in the second half. The team would never trail despite Sauk Rapids going on a couple of scoring runs late in the game.
