Just over a month ago, DigElog ROCORI had the chance to interview a local connection to the academy award winning film Milk. Growing up with severe disabilities in Richmond, MN, Gerard Dols contacted Harvey Milk (the main character in film Milk) in regards to potentially running away to California. Dols did eventually speak with Milk as well as move to California. In the movie "MILK", Dols is the "boy from Minnesota". However, there is much more to the story.
