Last Thursday, September 11, 2008, the ROCORI Spartan varsity volleyball team put their perfect record on the line as they hosted CLC rival, the Sauk Rapids Storm. The first game belonged to the Storm, but improved play at the net gave the Spartans the edge in games two and three. However, in the end, the game series would come down to just a couple of crucial rallies that didn’t go the Spartans way. They lost a heartbreaker that went the distance as they fell 3-2.
