In DigElog ROCORI’s fourth and final installment of Cold Spring Elementary Principal Jerry Sparby’s “leaving a legacy” stories, Jerry details a bit of advice he has for those educators who follow him.
Jerry has a sincere concern about the direction schools have been forced to take in regards to testing students. School isn’t always about the test score that a child receives.
As adults, we must learn that the most important thing we can give a child is love. And there is no such thing as a kid who can't be loved or who doesn't need love.
We thank Jerry Sparby for his 37 years of unselfish dedication and commitment to ROCORI kids. Our community and our world is a better place because of the difference Principal Sparby made.
