The ROCORI Varsity Baseball team was in action at St Cloud Apollo to take on the Eagles in a double-header. The nightcap was supposed to feature two of Central Minnesota’s best pitchers, but it was in the first game that the drama unfolded between two dominating pitchers. The Spartan’s were only able to muster two hits, both by Cory Wenz. However, Scott Schroeder was brilliant on the mound, as he pitched a shutout for the Spartans.
