« Harold DeWenter - Obituary | Main | ROCORI Swimmers Making a Splash as the State Tournament Rolls Around. »

I can only tell you what happened with the Richmond Republican caucus (it
was held here at City Hall.) They had a record turnout with every chair
available being used and standing room only in the back. I'd guess 50
people showed up. Contrast that with 6 or 7 two years ago (and that had a
contested congressional election and the governor's race in play.)

Here's the vote totals for the caucus:

Romney: 15
McCain: 9
Huckabee 7
Paul 4

There was one resolution passed at the caucus. It asked for the party to
consider adding a demand that Minnesota stop charging sales tax on local
governments as part of its state party platform.
