In this DigElog exclusive story, Principal Cheryl Schmidt gives us a tour of the ROCORI Middle School. By taking this virtual tour, citizens of the ROCORI area can best understand the difficult, and often times outdated conditions that our students and teachers are faced with. Schmidt is joined by project consultant Preston Euerle who has been commissioned by the school district to conduct public listening sessions on the future of the Middle School.

The final part of the tour includes a visit to Middle School Science lab. This room was not originally set up to be a lab. Non of the lab sinks in this room are plumped, requiring the teacher to haul water to and from the sinks in order to allow students to conduct class experiments.
The school district is presently forming a task force to make recommendations on the future of the Middle School. Interested citizens should contact either Preston Eurele at 320.251.0262 [email protected] or School Superintendent Scott Staska at (320) 685-4901 [email protected] .
