Three Cold Spring residents were honored for their volunteer work at the 2007 Chamber Holiday Banquet held on December 5th at The Great Blue Heron. Chosen to receive the 2007 HomeTown Pride Awards were Joe Willenbring, Theresa Larson and Duane Kuss.
In this story you'll meet Theresa Larson, aka, "The Cookie Lady". She is a retired cook at ROCORI High School and has become known for her volunteer work at the Senior Center and ROCORI Middle School. She is also well known for her legendary bread and cookie baking as well as always being there to help out as a babysitter for family and friends.
