Age 82

Richmond

December 29, 1925 – December 31, 2007

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 3, 2008
at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Richmond, MN for Angela “Angie”
Monnens, age 82, who died Monday at the Assumption Nursing Home, Cold
Spring.  Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call after 5:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:00
– 10:30 a.m. Thursday morning at the Wenner Funeral Home Richmond (151
Oakwood Ave. S.E).  Parish prayers will be at 5:00 p.m. followed by a
rosary with the Christian Women and Golden Smiles Senior Citizens.

It was an ugly first half for the Spartans as they would trail by a handfull. The offense would find its stride and start to dominate in the second half. Sam Feldhage once again led the way and Adam Meyer added some huge buckets down the stretch. It was the third consecutive home win for the boys in black and their forth win in a row overall.

Halloween is here and DigElog ROCORI is proud to bring you this exclusive story. This week we had a chance to take a tour of Scareview Gardens 2 in Sauk Rapids. Scareview Gardens is a haunted house-fundraiser that donates all of their proceeds to local charities. This story features an interview with the founder and coordinator of Scareview Gardens, Chanda Gebhardt. It also features an inside look at some of the spooky sights the haunted house has to offer.

Gluek Brewing Company proudly celebrated 150 years of service by hosting a country music concert that was held in honor of all of our service members in the United States military. Jamie O’Neal, Darryl Worley and Lonestar played for the large crowd that gathered on the north side of the Gluek Distribution Center. This story features footage from Darryl Worley’s soldier ceremony as well as an interview with a newly returned veteran of the Iraq War.

The Alexandria Cardinals traveled to Cold Spring to take on the ROCORI girl’s basketball team. In this story we see the Spartans fall behind early and attempt to claw back into the game. It has been a tough season thus far for the Spartans, but they have battled hard. The young players are learning valuable lessons such as hard work and persistence, which will not only help them in basketball, but also in life.
