Coming off a tough loss to the Sauk Rapids Storm last week, the ROCORI Spartans would not have things any easier as their tough Central Lake Conference schedule grinds to an end. On Friday October 12, the Spartans took on the Willmar Cardinals who were 5-1 on the season. If ROCORI’s hopes of controlling their own destiny were to stay alive, a victory was crucial. The Spartans jumped out to an early lead in the first half and cruised into the locker room with a narrow lead. It would take a whole lot of heart and teamwork to beat gritty Willmar Cardinals.
