It was a great playoff series for ROCORI Spartans. They played the role of the underdog basically the entire tournament. Great pitching, great hitting, and great defense is what lead to the ROCORI Spartans winning back to back sub-section championships. The ROCORI Spartans had to defeat the St. Cloud Apollo Eagles twice and the Little Falls Flyers once. Little Falls was the number one seed and Apollo was the number two seed. The ROCORI Spartans now will play the best of three series between the Bemidji Lumberjacks to see who will represent Section 8-AAA at the 2007 State Tournament.
