It was win and survive for the ROCORI Spartans boys baseball team as they took on the Hill-Murray Panthers. Pitcher Chad Aaseth was on the hill for the Spartans and looked sharp in the first inning. During the second inning neither team could get their offense going as both pitchers were in control on the mound. Infielder Alex Jungels, who was the star of the game sprinkled in a single.

Pitching was the name of the game for most of the season for the ROCORI Spartans. During the third inning pitcher Chad Aaseth would retire the side in order once again. The fourth inning was a different story however as the offense would finally break through with two outs and the bases loaded for ROCORI. Infielder Alex Jungels would get his second hit of the game and give the ROCORI Spartans a two-run lead.

During the fifth inning the defense would pick up for the ROCORI Spartans. Diving
catches and great plays in the infield really helped quiet the Hill Murray Panther
bats. In the sixth inning pitcher Chad Aaseth would keep the Hill Murray Panther bats quiet as he watched infielder Alex Jungels add
to his RBI total. Jungels would get a huge two-out RBI as the short
stop for Hill-Murray had trouble fielding a ground ball.
