FIRST HALF
Justin Stommes was the only thing the ROCORI Spartan varsity basketball boys had on their side in the first half. He led all scorers with 18 in the first half. ROCORI couldn't buy a bucket and found themselves in a load of trouble against the hated rival St. Cloud Apollo. After falling way behind the Spartans would chip away at the huge Apollo lead and would eventually trail by only 5 at half.

SECOND HALF
In the second half of this contest the ROCORI boys would make a valiant comeback. They would take the lead with about 3 minutes remaining but would witness Apollo hitting huge shots one after another. It was a tough game for the players and ROCORI fans. The Spartans were cold from the field and couldn't get the refs on their side. The Spartans come home with a rare loss after this one.
