A Fabulous "FREE" Christmas Concert (12/19/05)
Here's one of those Little gems that come around every once in a
while that you and your entire family will enjoy. On Tuesday, December
20th, at 7:30 pm, a "FREE" Christmas Concert will be held at the
Historic Old Salem Church (formerly E.U.B.) just 4 miles north of
Paynesville.
The concert will feature the nationally renowned concert pianist and recording artist Mary Beth Carlson. ARTISTS WEBSITE Appearing with Carlson will be cellist Diane Tremaine, Mark Henderson - woodwind and Nikki Allen, an outstanding soprano soloist from the University of Minnesota. Also, a special guest appearance will be made by the Paynesville High School mixed choir directed by Sheryl Burgum.

Historic Old Salem Church north of Paynesville, MN. That concert was

Peter N. Heinen (Obituary) (12/22/05)
Richmond
June 19, 1933 - December 22, 2005
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Richmond, MN for Peter N. Heinen, age 72, who died Thursday at the Saint Cloud Hospital. Burial will be in parish cemetery.
Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Monday and from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. Tuesday morning at the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring. Parish prayers will be at 4:00 p.m. followed by the Richmond Golden Smiles and the Richmond American Legion will pray at 7:00 p.m. Monday evening.

Rocori Winterguard dance and flag team. As you'll see in this video,
there's more to the Winterguard than you might think.
This is a sport of precise timing and skilled hand coordination. Teamwork is a must and like every sport... practice and more practice creates a great performance.

A Family Tradition "CUTTING OUR OWN TREE" (12/24/05)
Each year, just a week or two before Christmas, our family jumps in
the van and heads out to cut our own Christmas tree. Its a very
special family tradition.
This year we brought the video camera along and decided we'd share our experience with you. Duane, Bette, Samuel and Lillie hope you enjoy this short little story. There's music, beautiful trees, animals, snow angels and a whole lot more.
There's also a special performance by the Middle School 7th Grade Choir.

Bloodmobile... Rockville Parish Center (12/26/05)
The Bloodmobile will be at Parish Center in Rockville this coming Tuesday, December 27th. Your donation at this time of great need is very important.
The hurricanes named Katrina and Rita have drastically affected blood collections that would normally occur in these areas of the country.
Have you ever given blood? It takes only an hour and "It makes you feel really good about what you did!"
