Hospital Lights Up The Holidays! (12/02/05)
One annual event in the area that is always special during the
Holiday Season is the night the St. Cloud Hospital celebrates turning
on the lights that span the entire building.
This year the event included horse drawn trolly rides, Santa's reindeer and fun for the entire family. This is a joyous story for this wonderful time of year.

The Cold Spring brewery survived the 20's and early 30's by producing
mineral water, soft drinks and "near" beer for the Midwest market. In
addition, the owners expanded their interests beyond the brewery,
forming the Cold Spring Stock Farm. Here, on brewery land in the heart
of Cold Spring, they bought, pastured and sold cattle.

Vera Scherer (Obituary) (12/06/05)
Cold Spring
December 28, 1934 - December 6, 2005
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 9, 2005 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, MN for Vera Ann Scherer, age 70, who died Tuesday at home from cancer. Burial will be in parish cemetery.
Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Thursday and from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. Friday morning at the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring. Cold Spring Legion Auxiliary and Christian Women will pray at 4:30 p.m. and Parish Prayers will be at 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening.
