Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Rockville, MN for Shirley C. (Eisenschenk) Molitor, age 49, who died Friday as a result of a car accident. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Rockville.
Relatives and friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. Wednesday morning at the Wenner Funeral Home in RICHMOND. Parish prayers will be at 7:00 p.m. followed by a rosary with the Christian Women, Consecration and Rosary Groups.
Shirley was born in Richmond, MN to Jerry and Elaine (Kuehnl) Eisenschenk. She married Joseph Molitor on October 6, 1984 in St. Boniface Church, Cold Spring. Shirley lived life fully and was a Christian witness to everyone around her. She was a devoted wife and mother and farmed along side her husband east of Rockville. Shirley fed calves, loved to garden and was a well-known volunteer in the community. She was a counselor at Birthline and helped to start the Annual Rockville Women’s Conference. She spread her love for the Blessed Mother by hosting a weekly Friday morning rosary group and making rosaries in schools and all across the state. Shirley was a member of Mary of the Immaculate Conception Parish, Church Choir, Christian Women and Consecration and Rosary Groups.
Survivors include her husband and best friend, Joe; daughters, Melaine, Kristin, Leah (Adam) Brix of Farming, Hannah, Maria, Abby, Angela and Maggie; siblings, Carmen (Don) Capelle; Laura (Dave) Taufen, Brian (Deb) Eisenschenk; mother and father-in-law, Donald and Delores (Schlangen) Molitor; many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and infant son, Aaron Joseph.
