Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 4, 2009 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, MN for Hildegarde Fischer, age 84, who died Monday at Country Manor, Sartell. Entombment will be in the St. Boniface Parish Cemetery, Cold Spring.
Relatives and friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Sunday and from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. Monday morning, at the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring. The Christian Women will pray a rosary at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday evening.
Hildegarde was born in St. Martin, MN to Peter and Anna (Buerman) Ehresmann. She married Andrew Fischer on June 13, 1946 in Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Richmond. Hildegarde enjoyed raising her family, sewing clothes, cooking, quilting, gardening, playing cards, and visiting. She was a member of St. Boniface Parish, Christian Women and St. John’s Circle.
Survivors include her children, Joan (Jeff) Ratcliff of St. Cloud, Sharon (James) Goellner of Sauk Centre, Marlene (Bruce) Ruprecht of Grove City and Leon (Kathy) Fischer of Becker; sisters, Anna Mae Lauer, Eileen Kremer and Marie Glieden; brother, Greg Ehresmann; 6 grandchildren; 4 great- grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew (2004); parents; siblings, Hubert, Richard, Al, Raymond, Herbert, Julia, Viola, Lillian, and Lucille.
