Cold Spring

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, MN for Dolores “Dolly” Helmin, age 78, who died Saturday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Burial will be in the St. Boniface Parish Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. Wednesday morning at the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring. Parish prayers will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday evening in the funeral home.
Dolly was born in Sauk Rapids, MN to Dorothy Baker. She married Leonard Helmin on April 3, 1951 in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sauk Rapids, MN. Dolly loved and cherished her family and will be remembered for her friendly smile, willingness to help others and outgoing personality. She enjoyed listening to Mo-Town Music, gardening, painting, cake decorating, stain glassing and cooking. She worked at Ben Franklin Craft for many years. She was a member of St. Boniface Parish.
Survivors include her loving husband of 57 years, Len; children, Ken (Mary) of Coon Rapids, Donnie (Cindy) of Foley, John (Lynn) of Rice, Tom of Brooklyn Park, Sharon (Kent) Booth of St. Augusta and Diane Seegers-Kyle (Ed Kyle) of St. Cloud; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother and son-in-law, Tom Seegers.
