Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 14, 2007 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, MN for Keith Kellner, age 45, who died Sunday after a courageously fought battle with Malignant Melanoma. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring. Parish prayers will be at 4:00 p.m.
Keith was born the second child of seven, to John Jack and Darlene (Thielen) Kellner. He was a 1980 graduate from ROCORI. Keith worked at Cold Spring Granite, Drontle Construction, and later as a heavy equipment operator with the Local 49ers union for the past 16 years. He was most recently employed by Veit, S.J. Lewis and Barbarosa. Keith was an avid sportsman and enjoyed trips to Colorado and North Dakota to hunt with his friends and brothers. He had a strong independent spirit and a zest for life's adventures. He had many stories to tell and many, many, many friends to share them with. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Keith was a member of St. Boniface Parish and Joy Christian Center.
Survivors include his parents, Jack and Darlene of St. Joseph; brothers, Dave (Bonnie) of Freeport, Jeff (Jane Przybilla) of Elk River, Brian (Lisa) of St. Joseph, Tom of Cold Spring; sisters, Julie (Dave) Seitz of Becker and Kristi (Pete) Remus of Becker; 3 nieces and 2 nephews. Keith is also survived by his special love, Jane Kalthoff and her children, Amanda, Ian and Eli of Cold Spring.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Leonard and Katherine Kellner; maternal grandparents, Aloys and Alvina Thielen and his niece, Elizabeth.
