Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Richmond, MN for Emily F. Lang, age 90, who died Friday at the Assumption Home in Cold Spring.  Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Monday and from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Wenner Funeral Home in Richmond.  The Golden Smiles, Catholic Aid Association, Christian Women, Catholic Order of Foresters and St. Isadoreís Mission Group will pray at 4:30 p.m.  Parish prayers will be at 8:00 p.m.

Emily was born in Richmond, MN to John and Catherine Blasius.  She married Harold J. Lang on June 15, 1944 in Sts. Peter & Paul Church, Richmond, MN.  She was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Parish, Christian Women, Catholic Aid Association, Catholic Order of Foresters and St. Isadoreís Mission Group.  Emily will be gravely missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include her children, Sheldon (Ruth Zierden), Thomas (June Zierden), John (Rose Mueller) and David; sister, Helen Meyer; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold (1-9-1999) siblings, Rose Blasius, Mary (Felix Logelin), Loretta (Richard Burch), Eleanor (Wilcon Peterson), Catherine (Tony Logelin), Ben Blasius (Theresa Niewind), George Blasius (Clara Lipinski), Theresa (Al Kuechle), Martha (Paul Reitmeier) and Stella (Albin Niewind).

Roman P. Wolters

Age 82

St. Nicholas

March 12, 1924 - January 17, 2007

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 20, 2007 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in St. Nicholas, MN for Roman P. Wolters, age 82, who died Wednesday at the St. Cloud Hospital.† Burial will be in the parish cemetery.†

Visitation will be Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. in the St. Nicholas Church, St. Nicholas.  The Catholic Aid Association will pray a rosary Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m.  Arrangements are with the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring. 

Roman was born in St. Nicholas to Michael and Margaret (Dockendorf) Wolters.† He farmed on the familyís Century Farm until his retirement.  Roman was an avid baseball fan and enjoyed playing golf.  He was a member of St. Nicholas Parish and Catholic Aid Association.

Survivors include his sister, Hildegard; brother,†Ben (Joyce); sister-in-law, Lorraine and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Leo, Andrew and Raymond and sister Anastasia.

Memorials are preferred to Benedictine Mission House, Schuyler, NE or the Poor Clares Monastery.
