Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, December 16, 2006 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, MN for Julia C. Guggenberger, age 90, who died Wednesday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call from 9:00 - 11:30 a.m. Saturday morning in the Narthex of St. Boniface Church. Arrangements are with the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring.
Julia was born in Hoven, SD to Joseph and Elizabeth (Edrich) Karst. She married Norbert Guggenberger on November 24, 1938 in St. Boniface Church, Cold Spring, MN. Julia was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of St. Boniface Parish, Christian Women and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include her children, Lloyd (Libby) of Florida, Rita (Al) Meier of Sartell, Carol (Tom) Manuel of Cold Spring, Dale (Deb) of Cold Spring and June (Jerry) Rossman of Cold Spring; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Norbert (1988); 4 brothers and 3 sisters; 2 grandsons.
