Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 19, 2005 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Richmond, MN for Cornelio Vigil, age 92, who died Monday at the VAMC, St. Cloud.  Burial will be in the MN State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls, MN . 

Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Sunday and from 9-10:30 a.m. Monday morning at the Funeral Home in Cold Spring.  Parish Prayers will be at 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

Cornelio was born in San Luis, Colorado to Frank & Catalina Vigil.  He married Aurelia Aguiniga on March 5, 1955 in Sydney, Nebraska.  Cornelio worked as a Plasterer by trade in the construction industry.  He served as a gunner in the U.S. Navy during WWII in the Aleutian Islands.  He enjoyed fishing and watching baseball. 

Survivors include his wife, Aurelia; sons, Chris (Arlene) of Redlands, CA and Art (Brenda) of Rockville, MN; grandchildren, Courtney, Connor, Brooke, Troy, Eric and Ryan Vigil.

He is preceded in death by his sisters; Adelia Medina and Mary Chavez.
