As part of their Christmas celebration, the city of Sauk Rapids held their annual “Parade of Lights Holiday Celebration.” This event serves as a fundraiser for the Pageant, a service project for the community of Sauk Rapids, and a food drive for local food shelves. The event also recognizes and awards winners of the best home lighting displays in Sauk Rapids and features “A Night with Santa” for young children to fill goodie bags with candy, fruit and popcorn. Families will enjoy taking pictures with the Royalty, Santa and Mrs. Claus who will arrive on a lighted float, coming down Benton Drive around 5:30 p.m. on their way to Pleasantview School. DigElog Sauk Rapids would like to thank all of those involved with this wonderful community event. Your hard work and dedication does not go unnoticed.
