2007 Sauk Rapids Pageant ... Community Awareness

The 2007 Miss Sauk Rapids Pageant is in full swing and this weeks story captures the candidates visiting Sauk Rapids City Hall to learn more about their community.  In this story the ladies hear from Mayor Mark Campbell, Community Development Director Todd Schultz, Police Chief Curtis Gullickson and Fire Marshall Jason Fleming.  The candidates have a special demonstration by the Sauk Rapids Police Canine Team showing first hand how effective they can be in fighting crime and hunting down drugs.

In another DigElogSAUKRAPIDS 2007 Pageant feature, this story captures the ladies learning how to enhance their facial features.  A local skin care specialist was brought in the teach the girls the finer art of makeup usage.  This story captures the before, during and after makeup application.  With makeup adorn, each pageant candidate introduces themselves and gives recognition to their sponsor.

                               

2007 Miss Sauk Rapids Candidates Visit New Bridge

So what do the Miss Sauk Rapids Pageant and the new Sauk Rapids bridge have in common?  In this story you'll learn more about both of these significant parts of our community.  This year's Pageant participants don hard hats and safety glasses to be the first Sauk Rapids citizens to cross the newly constructed Sauk Rapids Bridge. 


Here's a story we'll all look back upon in the future and will put a smile of pride and joy on our faces.
