Here's one of those dog-fight wrestling matches you run into now and then when two wrestlers with very different styles come out on the mat and both give it their all.  Each wrestler scores 10 points or more in this competition that eventually has to be decided in overtime. 

37th Annual ROCORI Junior High Wrestling Invitational

18 teams from around the state are gathered today at Rocori High School for the 37th Annual Junior High Wrestling Invitational. 7th, 8th and 9th graders are competing in a round robbin of matches throughout the day. Over the past 4 years Rocori has placed in the top 3 teams of the tournament twice.

The ROCORI Spartans wrestling team took to the mat last week as they prepare for the 2008-2009 season. The team is filled with players that have varsity experience, and head coach Paul Court believes that their experience could translate into success. In this story, Coach Court gives us an inside look at the team and gives insight as to what we might expect to see from the team this season.
