12th, is Veterans Day. In this story we take a ride around the town of Cold Spring with
local VFW (Veterans Of Foreign Wars) Commander Mark Cervantez as he
conducts a special project for our troops serving over seas. Recently
the Cold Spring Area VFW has been collecting donations from drop locations in town,
packages them and mails them to our troops in Iraq. He shares with us
how the project began and how the local VFW became a part of it. This
story also includes a tribute to some of the area soldiers presently
serving and those recently returned from military duty.
