The annual "Rock the Sauk" Drumline performance was held at the Sauk Rapids/Rice High School on February 9th. The Sauk Rapids/Rice Drumline team once again stole the show with their version of the Presidential Race.

The Annual "Colors on the Rapids" Winter-Guard Performance was held at the Sauk Rapids/Rice High School February 9th. The Sauk Rapids/Rice girls performed an exhibition for the home fans and showed their brilliance.

Meet Wildlife Artist SCOT STORM

                grew up near Walker in northern Minnesota, is
                one of this nation’s most decorated wildlife
                artists. It all began when he was a child,
                doodling and drawing Disney and cartoon
                characters.

Book & Bean Cafe Outdoor Concert

After a brief shower in the morning, the sun shined and many people gathered at the Book and Bean Espresso Café to enjoy food, drinks, and wonderful music. The Book and Bean is located at the intersection of Washington Memorial Drive and West Saint Germaine in St Cloud, but they welcome as well as encourage members from ROCORI and surrounding communities to stop in and visit. This story features music and interviews from those who worked, visited, and performed at the event.

As a kid, I can remember my Mom telling me about the wonderful holiday displays that she would go to see at Daytons- downtown Minneapolis with her mother.  Now I'm not sure exactly what year that might have been but most likely it takes us back to the 1940's.  I remember visiting Dayton's in the 1960's a couple of times, although it really wasn't the kind of thing I got into as a kid.

Our story today takes us to the modern day Macy's (previously Daytons) and a visit to their 2006 Holiday Extravaganza titled  Up... UP... & Away featuring the story of Mary Poppins.
