Spencer Theis had another huge game in between the pipes for the River Lakes Stars as they traveled to Sartell to take on the Sabres. The Stars played a really good game against a surging Sabres team. The Stars' forechecking was great and they had a number of good chances early on. In the end it was too much Sabres offense for the Stars to handle as River Lakes fell 4-1.

River Lakes Varsity Girls Hockey vs St. Cloud Tech

Its the start of the game between the River Lakes Stars and the St. Cloud Tech Tigers. River Lakes would come out with some pressure early on and keep it up throughout the first period. They would, however, let a few pucks slide past and find themselves down by a couple of goals early on.

The River Lakes Stars trail by 2 after the first period.  In the second they would try and mount a comeback against the Tigers. Blythe Sjoberg would score a power play goal for the Stars and cut the lead to just one goal.

It's the final period of a difficult game for out River Lakes Stars. It was a weird game for them as they would have good pressure and get good shots on goal but just weren't  able to get more than one by the Tech goalie.
