ROCORI Spartans Open 2009 Football Season at Apollo Tonight!

New football coach Mike Rowe's invitation to wear "Black" tonight @ the game against Apollo in St. Cloud.

Tonight the ROCORI Spartans will travel to St. Cloud Apollo to take on the Eagles for their 2009 Central Lakes Conference opener. The new-look Spartans will be lead by senior quarterback Derek Leiser. First year head coach Mike Rowe looks to repeat last years opening performance as the Spartans jumped all over the Eagles. However, things may not be so easy without Nick Schneider. Come on out to St. Cloud Apollo tonight to cheer on the ROCORI Spartans.

On Tuesday September 25, 2007 the landscape of the video game industry was forever changed with the release of the third installment of the epic series, Halo. All over the globe, gamers flocked to local media merchants to purchase their copy of the game. The Halo 3 release did so well that it broke the record for sales by an entertainment product over a twenty-four hour period. This story features footage from a Halo 3 release party that was held at the Parkwood Theater in St Cloud, MN.

Nothing signifies fun times more than good rock music, a tasty plate of food, and a cold beer. Last week the Bear Creek Tavern welcomed thirty-two video game whizzes to compete in their first ever Guitar Hero II tournament. This story features coverage of the event as well as an interview with the winner of the tournament. Bear Creek plans to host another tournament and they are encouraging twenty-one plus members from the St Cloud and surrounding communities to come out and compete.
