Cold Spring Chamber Of Commerce Hometown Pride Awards Banquet

One of this year's 4 Hometown Pride Award recipients was Janet Aaseth. Janet grew up in Cold Spring and graduated from ROCORI High School, St. Cloud Technical College and Moorhead State, with a degree in Medical Records. Shand her husband Todd live in Cold Spring and have two children Chad and Sarah who are both in college. Janet has worked as an Administrative Assistant at Wenner Funeral Homes for 10 years.
Janet has volunteered in many different ways in the community. She has been an EMT with Cold Spring Fire & Rescue for 14 years and has served as a volunteer "Friendly Presence" at ROCORI HS since 2003. Since 1996, Janet has participated in many capacities both on and off stage as a member of the Great Northern Theatre Company and is an active member at St. Boniface Church.
Future stories will feature Judy Samuelson and the OLD GLORY RUN cofounders, Pam and Curt Karls.
ROCORI Jazz Singers entertained with carols of the season.
