Twenty years ago the ROCORI boy’s basketball team lived what every
young basketball player dreams about. The team went undefeated and
brought home the State Title. In this story, star guard Brian Akervik
shares many of the memories from the State Tournament Run.
Once again Cold Spring and the greater surrounding area gathered at St.
Boniface Parrish for the annual Breakfast with Santa. The Cold Spring
Lions Club hosted the event with help from the Cold Spring Chamber of
Commerce. Many families came out to eat the delicious pancakes, and the
children waited in line to put in their last Christmas gift requests.
Thank you to the many volunteers that helped to make this event a
