In this edition of the ROCORI city update, Rena Weber tells us about some important issues that are going on in Rockville. One thing that the city hall and its staff are trying to improve is the utilization of the City’s web site to get make more information available to the public. Be sure to check out www.rockvillecity.org for more updates.

Larry Lahr updates us on the progress of the Granite Company demolition project. It is moving more slowly than initially anticipated, but there is some good news. There are more potential prospects that are interested in the land than initially anticipated. If you would like to be involved in the meetings that are taking place that center around the project please contact city hall for those times and dates.

Finally, Dan Coughlin briefly discusses the upcoming presentation that will be held at the Civic Arena as part of the Richmond Grant acceptance. (Monday, September 15th, 11:00 AM, Civic Arena)  He also reminds us that there are little ones out on the road now that school has started, so exercise extra caution as you use the roadways, especially in the mornings and afternoons.
