In our third edition of the weekly ROCORI city update, Brian Herberg reminds us that the city of Rockville will be taking a formal stance on the township detachment issue. He also discusses registration for summer activities such as softball. For information on leagues forming for various age groups, feel free to give city hall a call.
Cold Spring City Administrator Larry Lahr informs us about the dangers of door-to-door solicitors. While not all solicitors are phony, unfortunately some are and it is important to practice caution when making purchases from these vendors. In this story you can watch and learn some of the ways you can protect yourself.
Lastly, Dan Coughlin reminds us that the Richmond “water plant project” is in full swing and we ask that citizens of Richmond please conserve water as much as possible. That does not mean that we must change our standard of living, but again, please conserve water whenever possible. The project is ahead of schedule and if there are any changes, DigElog ROCORI will be the first to let you know about them. Stay tuned for more updates and have a great week.
