There was a special treat to kick off the River Lakes Festival in Richmond, MN this past weekend. The Elk River German Band, made up of ten musicians from the twin cities area, performed their delightful Bavarian style of German music. In this story you'll hear a couple of the tunes performed Friday afternoon and you'll meet Vern Draxler and his lovely daughter who talk about how the band first got started 18 years ago and how it continues to entertain folks all across the Midwest.
