This story features a game that took place last Saturday in Cold Spring, MN, between the two top contenders for the conference championship, the ROCORI boys basketball team and St. Cloud Apollo. Both teams were tied for 1st place in the conference and the winner of this game would walk away with the conference title.
FEATURING INTERVIEWS WITH...

It was back in January when these two teams met and
Apollo handed ROCORI only its second defeat of the season. But Saturday
night was going to be different in front of the overflow croud of 1,800
watching at ROCORI High School. ROCORI was on top of their game from the start and would go into the locker room at half time with a 48 to 26 lead over Apollo.
SECOND HALF
The second half was led by ROCORI senior guard Justin Stommes. Apollo would pull out all the stops with a desparate full court press but would crumble under the savvy ROCORI offense. ROCORI would go on to win their 3rd consecutive Central Lakes Conference championship winning by a score of 93 to 49.
FEATURING INTERVIEWS WITH:
