A Mary Poppins Visit – MACY'S MPLS
As a kid, I can remember my Mom telling me about the wonderful holiday
displays that she would go to see at Daytons- downtown Minneapolis with
her mother. Now I'm not sure exactly what year that might have been
but most likely it takes us back to the 1940's. I remember visiting
Dayton's in the 1960's a couple of times, although it really wasn't the
kind of thing I got into as a kid.
Our story today takes us to the modern day Macy's (previously Daytons) and a visit to their 2006 Holiday Extravaganza titled Up... UP... & Away featuring the story of Mary Poppins.
