The ROCORI Marching Band and Color Guard performed during the halftime show at the Friday night Varsity football game. The group is in the middle of their Fall Field Show season. The show this year is entitled: "Phantom of the Piano Studio". We used two cameras to capture this performance and we think you'll enjoy the results. Special thanks to Pat Grelson for her super camera work up on top of the press box.

In this clip we interview Tony Hutar, the ROCORI Marching Band director. Tony conducted his second Marching Band Summer Camp and has just completed his first year in the ROCORI district. We sprinkle in some footage that we captured of the practice for the marching band and also the color guard. Mr. Hutar has some aggressive plans for the ROCORI Band program in the near future.

This year's Rockville parade was held Saturday night as a part of the ROCK-FEST festival. We were unit number 79 among a total of around 100 units.
This is a story about the people sitting along the parade route and their willingness to do the "DigElog WAVE!" It's a fun piece with coverage of hundreds of folks who were enjoying the parade.
There's also great coverage here of the St. Cloud Community Band. The band, who was located right in front of the DigElogROCORI van, did some very nice things in this video story. You'll enjoy watching it.

The ROCORI Jazz Choir is an elite combination of High School singers who try out for the privilege to be a part of this special performing group. Students are chosen both for their singing skills and voice quality to match the total integrated sound of the group.
Dee Holsinger directs the group and enjoys the opportunity of working with this group of talented vocal kids. "We sing at special events throughout the community and use the funds we raise to help pay for our choir accompanists." said Holsinger.
In this story you'll meet each of the Jazz Choir members and you'll here them sing one of their favorite songs, "Fly Me To The Moon".
The Jazz Choir was also featured on DigElogROCORI earlier in the school year when they performed at the Lions Annual "Meet Santa" breakfast.

Fall of 2005 brought some harsh weather to Minnesota. The entire country, as we all know, suffered greatly from Mother Nature's angry annihilations. The aftermath of a savage windstorm, in northern Minnesota, caused many established trees to perish. During this storm, a 200-year-old tree came crashing down, near Backus, MN, to block the only entrance to a discrete lake residence.
This event inspired "TIMBER" a short film composed by Aaron Cheeley of Cold Spring. Let's show him some Rocori support by voting for "TIMBER" at the St. Cloud Times Internet Film Festival!
The ROCORI Drumline began in 1976 and has been a member of the Minnesota Percussion Association since the organization was formed in 1992. The 2005-6 Drumline has 28 members under the direction of Percussion instructor Dick Rausch.
In this story you'll see the 2006 ROCORI Drumline performance of "Through the Streets". You'll follow the group as it journeys through the world of percussion, searching for a bit of color in life.
Music selections include HeliChopter, written by Chris Crockarell, Sans Revival, written by Chris Brooks, Metric Lips, written by Bela Fleck and arranged by David Steinquest, and Madagascar, written by Julie Davila. The drill design is by Creative Solutions.
