Sheila Korn was the first place winner of the 2008 DigElogROCORI Trivia Hunt.  Sheila has been watching DigElogROCORI since it began on September 1, 2005.  She enjoys both the online coverage and the "Week In Review" that is broadcast of the local cable Channel 10.  Here favorite programs are those that track school activities and sports.

In the second part of this story you’ll again hear from Jerry Sparby, Cold Spring Elementary Principal, who strongly encourages parents to get directly involved in their children’s lives. His message supports the idea of playing with your children.  From throwing a baseball back and forth, to playing a favorite board or card game.  The key is playful experiences where parents socially interact with their children.
