Jerome “Jerry” Chesney * MEMORIAL SERVICE

October 25, 1928 – December 20, 2008

Jerome “Jerry” Chesney died Saturday December 20, 2008 at Arlington Place in St. Joseph.  Jerry was born in Minneapolis to Raymond and Eunice (Helwick) Chesney.  He married Mildred Guddal on July 16, 1948 in Minneapolis. 

Jerry worked for Stearns Electrical Association for 44 years until his retirement in 1990.  He was member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Richmond Rod and Gun Club and the Paynesville Lutheran Church.  Arrangements entrusted with the Wenner Funeral Home in Richmond.

Survivors include  his wife of 60 years, Millie; son, David (Vicki) of Hancock, MI; grandchildren, Mitchell of Beverly Hills, CA and Alexandra of Ithaca, NY; sisters, Jackie Niznik of Columbia Heights and Sandra (Frank) Wallentine, of St. Louis Park.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial service 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Arlington Place, St. Joseph.
Inurnment will follow at Champlin Cemetery, Champlin, MN.

Memorials preferred to Stearns Electric Association Trust.
