St. Cloud Apollo vs. St. Cloud Tech Volleyball

In our final highlight from the 2009 St. Cloud Apollo Volleyball team, the Eagles took on cross-town rivals, the St. Cloud Tech Tigers. Early in the match, both teams played evenly. A few crucial points swung in favor of the Tigers and they took the first game 26-24. From there on, the Eagles simply couldn't hang with the Tigers as they fell in games two and three. While the Eagles did not win many matches this season, their commitment to excellence off the court should be commended. DigElog ROCORI looks forward to covering the 2010 Eagles Volleyball Team!

In this story you will see video highlights from the St. Cloud Apollo Eagles volleyball match against the Sauk Rapids/Rice Storm. Early in game one, the Eagles fell behind as the Storm capitalized on a number of their mistakes. Sauk Rapids breezed through the first two games, but in the third game the Eagles were much more competitive. In this story you will hear from St. Cloud Apollo volleyball coach Scott Heinen as he gives us a brief introduction to this years’ volleyball team. Although the team doesn’t have a strong win-loss record, Heinen points out that success for his team isn’t just measured by wins and losses. DigElog Waite Park would like to thank the Apollo volleyball team for sharing some of their time with us, and we look forward to covering the team this year and beyond.

It has been a tough year thus far for the Eagles, but they have managed to put together back-to-back wins, and they look to build momentum heading into the playoffs.
