This story includes an interview with Jeff Blair, Park Board member in Waite Park, where he talks about the benefits of community gardening. John Tasto, community garden coordinator at the Whitney Center community gardens, also talks about the success of their program. It is Blair's intent to get a planning committee organized in Waite Park with the goal of creating and implementing a community garden project in Waite Park.
